Committees

Cinema Committee

This committee is responsible for the "Big Screen Theater" which features current blockbuster hits, and classic favorites which are shown in the Union Theater every other weekend. Members are also responsible for preparing promotional materials for upcoming movies.

• Movie times are 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm Thursday through Sunday evenings for $3, with matinée showings on Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 pm for $1

• Theater has stadium seating and surround sound and is located in Reeve Union on the third floor in room 307

• Concession items are available. All concessions are 75¢ and include popcorn, candy, soda and water

Concerts Committee

This committee is responsible for bringing nationally known musical and comedy acts to UW Oshkosh. Past acts include White Tie Affair, Nappy Roots, All Time Low, Tim Meadows, Ralphie May, and a Comedy Central Tour.

Creative Leisure Committee

This committee plans a variety of hands-on arts and crafts activities, trips and athletic pride initiatives. Past events include Crazy Craft Blowout, Glass Fusing, and trips to a Brewers game and musical Les Miserables. 

Music & Variety Committee

This committee programs a variety of musical acts through the Local Live Music Night series and the annual Battle of the Bands competition. Also, it programs variety acts such as comedians, slam poets, and hypnotists.

Special Events Committee

This committee coordinates three major traditional events on campus each year including Homecoming, Winter Carnival and the end-of-the-year celebration, Bye Gosh Fest.
