Reeve Advisory Council

The purpose of Reeve Advisory Council is to provide a model of leadership and serve as an effective medium of communication for both Reeve Union Board and Reeve Advisory Council. To represent the organization on issues and activities that affect Reeve Memorial Union. To serve a resource to the Executive Director for Campus Life and provide advice based on the appointee's respective constituencies and the best interests to Reeve Memorial Union. 


To develop the mission, vision, and strategic directions for Reeve Memorial Union. To represent Reeve Memorial Union's position on campus issues, in conjunction with the Executive Director and Reeve Union Board. To initiate, in conjunction with the Executive Director, legislation on Reeve Memorial Union issues that affect the general University community. To provide a forum for the University community to share concerns and suggestions pertaining to Reeve Memorial Union.  And, to serve as an advisory council to the Executive Director, in regard to; policy matters relating to operations, the general use, and improvements to Reeve Union and budget proposals.


    Reeve Union Board (RUB)

    Reeve Union Board is a student-run organization that provides quality programming while entertaining and appealing to a wide campus audience. Working with funds from students, RUB organizes and executes large events including homecoming, major concerts and comedians, movies and other special events. With four committees, it's easy to select and get involved in each specific area of interest, and for students to grow, lead and have fun!


    Interfraternity Council (IFC)

    The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the representative body for campus fraternities. Whereas each fraternity has its own individual goals, the IFC provides a general direction for the growth and betterment of all fraternities. The IFC meets to conduct business and to discuss any pressing issues in the Greek community. We work to promote fraternities at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. IFC is also the main channel of communication between the University and the Greek community.

    Oshkosh Student Association (OSA)

    The Oshkosh Student Association is the student government that represents all students regarding issues and policies relating to academic and non-academic scores. Established in 1959, we are an advocate for the best interests of the students at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.  The State of Wisconsin affords all students the opportunity to provide input in all operations of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.


    United Students in Residence Halls (USRH)

    United Students in Residence Halls is the second largest student governance group on campus concerning students living in residence halls. We cover almost every aspect of student life on campus and are always looking for students with concerns, requests, or new ideas.     Multicultural Education Coalition (MEC)

    The MEC strives to promote student leadership and success through fostering a passion for diversity in our community by offering and promoting a variety of cultural experiences and serving as a platform and voice for multicultural issues and five umbrella organizations: The Asian Student Association (ASA), the Black Student Union (BSU), The Hmong Student Union (HSU), United Women of Oshkosh and the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL).


    Panhellenic Council

    Panhellenic Council is the governing board over all of the sororities on campus. They provide a general direction for growth and development for the sororities on campus. They meet weekly to discuss what is happening in each of the chapters on campus, promote educational or service/philanthropic events, and develop strategic directions of the community.
