SLIC Resources

The SLIC is a friendly, professional community for students and their organizations. The SLIC provides office space, resources, and leadership development training to student groups. SLIC is the place to do something, ANYTHING!

What is available for student leaders in the SLIC?

Cubicle Space - Recognized student organizations are eligible for cubicle space. Applications are available with the OSA recognition paperwork.

Phone - Make local and campus calls for your group's business.

Training - Workshops on leadership topics of all types are offered - for your personal interest or to enhance your groups leadership skills.

List of Student Organizations - Provides contact info, purpose and meeting times.

Work Space - Room for working people and projects.

Resources - Books and magazines on all sorts of leadership topics.

How To's - Reserve a room in Reeve, rent the popcorn machine, start a new student organization, etc.

Conference/Meeting Room - Available on a first-come, first-serve basis - have your executive board meeting or a committe meeting here.

Leadership Tips - Brochures in the SLIC and on the web, are available on executive positions and general leadership topics.

RUB Trips - Find out what's happening and sign up for RUB trips and contests at the front desk.

Rent Machines - Reserve and pay for the rental of sno-cone,cotton candy and popcorn machines at the front desk.

Art Supplies - Make a six foot banner, or use the letter cutter for making a bulletin board, along with other basic supplies.

Computer - Computers are available for all student organization members' use. The SLIC has 15 computers available for use when the SLIC is open. You may use the computers for printing, but you must limit your paper usage. You may also have Copy This print materials out for you.Personal printing is strongly discouraged.
