Titan Lead

What is it?
Titan LEAD is a leadership weekend that focuses on your personal leadership development. A group of students will be selected to participate in intellectual and hands-on learning that is designed to enhance their leadership abilities and strengths. This leadership experience focuses on individual growth, group process, and community contributions. Students must apply and be selected to be a part of the program.

Mission
Titan LEAD is a student leadership program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh which provides opportunities for students to identify, nurture and develop their leadership skills, talents, and opportunities through training and experiential learning.

What’s In It For Me?

  • Develop deeper understanding of leadership.
  • Explore authentic leadership
  • Understand personal strengths
  • Connect with other student leaders.
  • Engage in conversations with others who want to positively impact the UW Oshkosh community.
  • Develop and use skills that will make you more marketable in your major, job or graduate school search.
  • Prepare you to be a contributing citizen in your community.

Bonus
All students will receive a copy of "The Radical Leap: Lessons in Extreme Leadership" by Steve Farber, T-shirt, Plaque, and be eligible to compete in a case study competition (1st Place- $150 book scholarship, 2nd Place- $100, 3rd-$50)

When is it?
This leadership experience will take place November 13 (4pm-9pm)  and November 14 (9am-6pm), 2009.

Students are often busy with classes, org meetings, event planning....and somehow lose track of their own growth.  Titan LEAD is created with students in mind.  Students willing to commit to the training will be glad they did!  Interested students should contact Chelsea Redger (redgerc@uwosh.edu).

How do I apply?
Download the Application here. Applications are due Monday, October 26, 2009 by 12pm to the Student Leadership and Involvement Center. Students should sign-up for an interview time when turning in their applications.
